Meet one of our awesome crew members: Glen. He’s been with the Oak Tree crew for more than four years now, so he knows his way around a container.
What keeps him coming back? The crew and the system that supports them.
"The best thing for me is having the app on my phone - work gets assigned to you, and when you need a day off you can mark it off yourself instead of calling in. And the bonus system is good."
On the job, it's the people around him that keep him moving.
"If there's a good experienced worker alongside you, you know you'll be done in no time, and you'll have a good day's pay to show for it."
His advice to anyone starting out is simple: get alongside experienced crew members and learn from them.
"It may look harder the way we do it, but it's easier and faster once you know what you're doing."
